Dutch midfielder Kemy Agustien will spend the week on trial with Swansea. The 23-year-old is due to meet up with the squad this week and give new boss Brendan Rodgers a chance to look at what he has to offer during the Welsh club`s Dutch tour. Agustien, who is without a club having been released by AZ Alkmaar, has been blighted by injuries over the past few years. However, Rodgers is keen admirer of the former Holland Under-21 international, who had a brief spell at Birmingham in 2008. "He is a great talent who has had a few injury problems recently," Rodgers told the club's official website. "But he comes highly recommended by my contacts at home and he is certainly worth a closer look."
