Swansea manager Kenny Jackett is hoping to use Saturday's testimonial against Fulham as an opportunity to convince Chris Coleman to part with midfielder Darren Pratley. Jackett has already had two bids turned down for the Fulham youngster but has admitted that he will attempt another raid this weekend when the Premiership club arrive in South Wales for Saturday's friendly.
"We haven't made any further contact with Fulham over Darren since pre-season started", Jackett told the Evening Post, "...but I'm sure we will ask again this weekend. I am still keen on Darren and now we have an opportunity to talk".
Jackett has publicly admitted that he intends to bring a midfielder and a defender to the club before the season starts, although he may be forced to settle for a season-long loan for youngster Pratley.
