Swansea are set to finally complete their first signing of the summer, with Bristol City's Marc Goodfellow making the short trip down the M4 to the White Rock Stadium. The South Wales club have called a press conference for this afternoon, where they will announce the capture of the winger's signature, subject to him passing a medical.
The club's initial £25k bid was rejected by Bristol City in January, although it is thought that the Swans have now sealed Goodfellow on a free transfer, albeit with clauses for appearances and goals scored next season. The club will take over the winger's current 12 month deal at Bristol City and add a clause which allows him to extend that deal should he reach a certain amount of appearances.
Goodfellow will have signed just in time to return with the rest of the squad for pre-season training on Friday.
