Swansea Chairman Huw Jenkins has finally identified the second midfield target that the club have been chasing and revealed that he is ready to pay a fee in the six-figure bracket to get his man. Yeovil's Lee Johnson is the suprise player the Swans are looking to add to their midfield and hopefully play him alongside possible loan signing Gavin Williams.
"It's all happened very quickly", Jenkins told the Evening Post, "...Lee would like to progress his career elsewhere as soon as he can and we are reasonably hopeful that a deal can be done. I have had discussions with the Yeovil chairman and we are in the process of trying to agree a fee".
Johnson was named in the League Two team of the year last season and is the son of Yeovil Manager Gary. A product of the Watford youth academy, Johnson scored 11 goals in 52 appearances last season.
