Kenny Jackett has decided to put both Gary Fisken and Andy Gurney on the transfer-list, as he prepares to plan for next season in League One. Both players will be available on free-transfers, with Jackett looking to use the duo's wages to attract new transfer targets.
Fisken has been a major disappointment since he became Kenny Jackett's first signing from Watford last summer, making only a handful of cameo appearances and spending the majority of the season appearing for the reserves. The news will come as no suprise to the midfielder, who has failed to fulfil the potential that Jackett saw in him as a youngster at Watford and spent the last two months of the season on loan at non-league Cambridge City.
However, the news that Andy Gurney has been transfer-listed will definitely suprise the majority of Swansea fans. Gurney was one of the top-performers in the side in his first few months after signing from Swindon in September, yet saw his form dip post-Christmas and became a scape-goat for many fans on the North Bank.
