Three football supporters have been charged and released on bail, following allegations of racial abuse from Swansea's Adrian Forbes. Forbes told police and stewards that he had been assaulted and racially taunted by three Oxford United supporters after Swansea's 1-0 victory at the Kassam Stadium on the 8th December last year - with several of his team-mates also witnessing the incident.
The three Oxford supporters have been released on bail under the condition that they do not attend another football league fixture until after their hearing on April 1st. This takes place at Oxford Magistrates Court, where two men will be charged with disorderly conduct and the the other with common assault.
