"The Surgeon is very pleased with the way things have gone. All three operations were similar, but the players involved suffer to varying degrees from damaged ankles," explained club physio Richard Evans.
"Kristian O'Leary went in on Wednesday evening for a general clean-up of the damaged joint, and it was very straightforward with no complications. Roger Freestone had his op this morning, and underwent a similar procedure on both ankles, although the specialist was very pleased that the left one didn't require too much attention.
"Mamady Sidibe's operation was the biggest one, as it was dealing with an old injury that has caused him problems previously. The ankle joint was scraped as expected, but the good news is that he didn't need to have the ligament reconstructed as was feared."
O'Leary and Freestone are both expected to be able to report back for pre-season training, although Sidibe will not be back until well into the new season.
