Following Swansea's return to the dressing room after their dramatic 3-1 FA Cup win at Whaddon Road on Sunday, Kenny Jackett immediately warned his players to forget about their achievements and concentrate on Wednesday's crucial League Two fixture. The Vetch will host Swansea's rescheduled fixture against Darlington on Wednesday and a home win would leave the top two sides four points clear of third position.
''The first thing I said to the players in the dressing room was that my focus is now on Darlington and that theirs should be just the same", Jackett told the Evening Post. "We've focused on the best mental and physical preparation - from the energy drinks to massages - from the minute this game finished".
Another bumper crowd is expected in Swansea on Wednesday night, with 500 extra spaces available in the North Bank following restructuring work. Jackett will just be hoping that this year's FA Cup run does not prove too much of a distraction from their league form...as Brian Flynn learnt the hard way last season.
