But Trundle - who missed a glorious chance himself to break the deadlock - says the likes of Gorka Pintado, Shefki Kuqi, Craig Beattie will deliver the goals needed to seal a place in the play-offs.
The 33-year-old told the South Wales Evening Post: "It's great for the manager to have so many options up front. And the opposition won't know if we are going to go 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 these days because we have played the latter formation recently.
"Shefki has done really well since he arrived and he's proved to be a right handful for defences. But the rest of the strikers offer something different to each other, so the gaffer knows he has options to play with.
"The defence has been top quality this season and they deserve a lot of credit for the team's success, but I'm confident when we go forward we will score goals. We have the quality in this squad to keep the club in the play-offs."
