Lee Trundle reached notched his 50th goal for Swansea on Tuesday night, as he helped himself to the opener against MK Dons. Taking his tally to six league goals so far this season, Trundle slotted home in the 16th minute and reached an extremely impressive milestone in his career.
It has taken last season's top goalscorer just 93 games to hit the 50-goal mark as he continues to impress in League One. Many critics were waiting to pounce on the club's biggest asset, with many claiming that he would struggle in a higher division, but Trundle looks anything but out of his depth against improved defences.
Trundle's influence within the side is clearly valuable, as he was infact responsible for setting up both of Swansea's other goals in their valuable win. Andy Robinson was the grateful recipient on both occasions, as his two crucial strikes mean the Swans moved to the top of League One, setting themselves up nicely for Saturday's tricky trip to Hartlepool.
