Huw Jenkins has been forced to publicly deny yet another possible Lee Trundle transfer, following speculation that Sheffield Wednesday were interested in signing last season's top goalscorer. With rumours rife at the end of last week claiming that Wednesday had tabled a bid, many supporters became worried at Trundle's mysterious injury that forced him out of Saturday's Doncaster match at the last minute, believing the move to be a "done deal".
However, Jenkins has moved quickly to reassure Swansea supporters and told the Evening Post, "The last thing we want to do is let our better players leave. With it so close to the close of the transfer window you do get all sorts of rumours flying about and that is what this is - a rumour".
