Swansea striker Lee Trundle has been officially awarded as League Two's player of the season, following the club's successful promotion from League Two. Trundle was given the award based on numerous influential performances, that saw him break the 20-goal barrier for the first time since the early eighties.
Trundle has been a constant thorn in defences throughout League Two and has enjoyed the limelight of television shows such as Soccer AM, making him the highest profile player in the division. It is very rare to find a day that goes by without a different club supposedly showing interest in him and his 23 goals have helped push the Swans to a top-three finish.
