It looks like we have seen the last of Lee Trundle as a Swansea City player as the player has handed in a transfer request and has admitted his desire to join Bristol City.
Speaking to BBC Wales sport Huw Jenkins said "Lee has expressed his desire to leave and we've had a few bids from Bristol City." Nothing has yet been agreed but that may change over the next few days.
"We'd dearly love to keep him - he's done so much for Swansea City on and off the field over the past few years - but we have to take the player's wishes into account as well."
The loss of Trundle would be a big blow to all. The talisman striker has been our top scorer each season since joining us in season 2003/2004 from Wrexham. If he does go, which now does seem likely, we wish him every success at his new club, apart from when they play us of course!!!
