Striker Lee Trundle has been virtually ruled out of next Saturday's Northampton Town fixture, due to a frustrating knee injury sustained in training a few weeks ago. Although Trundle is progressing well, the ex-Wrexham striker is still well behind schedule and physio Richard Evans has basically ruled him out.
The news will be a massive blow to Jackett, who has stated that Swansea's current injury situation has been the worst he has ever seen. No fewer than eleven first team players are currently carrying injuries, with eight of them fighting an uphill struggle to be fit for the Northampton fixture.
