Lee Trundle returned from seeing a knee specialist in Oswestry with the news that all Swansea fans were waiting to hear..."All Clear". Trundle had felt pain in the knee that had kept him out for pre-season and much of the start of the new campaign, but the striker has been told he is free to resume full training.
Swansea's top-scorer has been suffering from tiredness of the joint, caused by playing so many games in such a short period of time after a long injury lay-off. Trundle stated that it was a "huge relief" to know that there was no further damage in the knee and that he could now just concentrate on his football again.
Speaking to the Western Mail, "I had a lot of problems last year and I started the season late because of the same thing, so to get knocked back after just getting in the swing of things would have been a real blow". Swansea fans can now look forward to the return of their talisman striker for the visit of Rushden and Diamonds on Saturday.
