Kenny Jackett has sent Lee Trundle to a North Wales knee specialist to determine whether there is anything serious in his newest injury. Trundle missed much of pre-season with knee trouble and the problem seems to have reared it's head once again - with the striker missing out on Swansea's impressive victory at Wycombe.
Trundle also missed four months of last season with various injuries, one of which was a knock to the knee. Now Kenny Jackett is hoping to find out once and for all if there is anything more that the specialist can do for his star-striker.
Should Trundle be forced to undergo an operation, it would be a major blow for Jackett's much improved Swansea side, who have won four of their last five league games and boast the best defensive record in all of the Coca Cola Leagues. It is understood that if the specialist can find no further damage to Trundle's knee, then the striker will feature in Saturday's visit of Rushden and Diamonds.
