Swansea youngster Owain Tudur-Jones is in line for his first ever professional start, as he looks to take advantage of the club's injury and suspension crisis. Jackett favours playing a strong defensive-midfielder alongside club-captain Martinez in the centre of midfield and with usual first-choice Kris O'Leary injured, OTJ is the likely man to fill the void.
The Welsh giant made his debut for the Under-21 side on Tuesday and could mark a fantastic week with his first start for Swansea against Doncaster on Saturday. The 20-yr old admits that its a massive step-up from playing in the League of Wales but is hoping that he can impress if called upon.
"I did okay for Bangor last year", OTJ told the Evening Post, "...and hopefully I'll do the same for Swansea when the opportunity comes". "On a personal level, I think training every day has been very beneficial and hopefully I can make that step. I'm quite confident in my own ability and I feel I'm improving all the time".
