Swansea have also announced that they are in positive negotiations with the South Wales Police over re-opening the West Terrace to all home fans. Following previous advice, the club were forced to use the West Terrace as a family stand - only allowing access to those with children and forcing a large number of supporters to miss out on the fixture over the last few games.
However, a meeting at the Guildhall took place on Wednesday, during which the club outlined proposals to re-open the terrace to all home fans and make the most of its 2,000 capacity. The club are expecting the notion to be passed soon, which will mean the total Vetch capacity being increased to just over 12,000.
Meanwhile, South Wales Police has issued a statement asking all home fans to gain access to the ground early...to ensure that they are granted entry.
