The defender could not help but feel hard done by after the 1-0 reverse at Glanford Park, which came courtesy of Joe Garner`s second-half penalty after the Swans really should have already put the game to bed on a tricky surface.
The result was tempered slightly by defeats for promotion rivals Cardiff and Nottingham Forest to leave City still holding onto second place, and Williams now wants to right the wrongs from Saturday by taking the sting out of the Hornets at the Liberty Stadium.
"We were all gutted in the dressing room after the game," he told Swansea`s official website. "It hurts that we didn`t get the three points and open up a gap because we want to win every game. But we`ve got to put it to bed now, move on and not let it affect us.
"The fact the Watford fixture comes so soon makes it the perfect game to bounce back. They are a tough team and we will have to play well to get anything out of the game.
"We`ve got to use all the frustrations from Scunthorpe on them and go on another winning run."
