Ashley Williams is set to make a record-equalling return for Swansea at Crystal Palace. The centre-back missed Tuesday`s 2-0 Carling Cup defeat at Wigan having suffered slight concussion in last weekend`s league victory over Leicester but, having benefited from the rest, he returns to the fold at Selhurst Park. Williams` recovery means he is now set to make his 106th successive league appearance for the Swans, joining former City outfield players Andy Legg and Gilbert Beach on the milestone although goalkeeper Roger Freestone holds the all-time record with 186. Manager Brendan Rodgers will be delighted to have the Wales international back as he prepares to lose captain Garry Monk to a one-match ban for collecting five bookings, and possibly fellow defender Albert Serran who is set for a thigh scan. As well as Serran, midfielder Kemy Agustien was also forced off at the DW Stadium with a knee injury and will be assessed, while Mark Gower continues to make progress on the sidelines with his hamstring injury. Gorka Pintado (shoulder) comes back into the reckoning after playing 90 minutes for the reserves, fellow striker Frank Nouble has been recalled from his loan spell by West Ham.
