Jones made his debut under Brian Flynn in Swansea's LDV defeat at Stevenage a couple of seasons ago, and fought his way into the starting line-up on numerous occasions last year. The young defender has also featured in the majority of Swansea's pre-season action, which included scoring against Dutch top-flight outfit Den Haag.
