Youngster Joins Swans On Trial

Swansea have taken Welsh under-19 midfielder David Evans on trial, after the youngster's family decided to relocate to the area. Evans is currently contracted to Charlton but is desperately hoping to sufficiently impress Kenny Jackett and earn a deal in South Wales.

Evans was part of last season's successful Charlton youth side that reached the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup and has been described as a player of "real potential". Yet to make his Charlton debut, Evans joins the club on an initial one week trial.
